Larry Larsen is an artist/photographer. He graduated from San Francisco State University in 1967. He worked as a Boilermaker welder for 30 years. He is now retired and able to follow his true passion in fine art. He has shown paintings and ceramic sculpture at numerous museums and galleries. One of his paintings received a "Best of Show" award at the Center for Contemporary Art Annual competition in 1990. Larry learned how to turn on a computer in 2000, then he began learning Photoshop 5, acquired a digital camera and never looked back. He learned that digital photography is very liberating and wide open for experimentation. He has made Photoshop composites and he has played with HDR. He now uses Photoshop primarily, for enhancement in tonality and color. Every day is a new challenge. |
